In a small town in Castilla, in the middle of the post-war period in the mid-1940s, Isabel and Ana, two sisters aged eight and six respectively, watch the film “Doctor Frankenstein” one Sunday. The vision of the film makes such an impression on the little girl that she keeps asking questions to her older sister, who assures her that the monster is alive and hiding near the village.
