The humble and simple Ma, and the shy Cao, have been expelled from their respective families and forced into an arranged marriage. Now they will have to join forces and build a home where they can survive. In the midst of adversity, a bond begins to forge between them as both Ma and Cao, in tune with the cycles of the Earth, create a refuge in which they can thrive.
