Although he is often unemployed, Etienne (Kad Meran) is an endearing actor who runs a theater workshop in a penitentiary. There he gathers an unusual group of inmates to perform Samuel Beckett’s famous play ‘Waiting for Godot’. When he gets permission to tour out of prison with his colorful troupe of actors, Etienne is finally presented with the opportunity to prosper.
Each date with the public becomes a new success, and a unique relationship is forged between the improvised company and its director. But before you know it, it’s time for the final performance, which will take place in Paris. Will this farewell performance be the group’s greatest success?
