A gay couple’s marriage goes into crisis when one of them begins a passionate affair with a younger woman.
On the last day of shooting his film, director Tomas (Franz Rogowski) impulsively begins a passionate love affair with Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos), a young teacher. For Tomas, being with a woman is an exciting novelty that he is eager to explore even though he is married to Martin (Ben Whishaw). But when Martin begins his own affair, the fickle Tomas turns his attention back to her husband. Set in contemporary Paris, PASSAGES tells the story of an unbridled battle of desires between three people, where the desire to possess is a constant and happiness is ruled out.
