Hortense has a big heart and no one to share it with except her cat and her mother. While shopping for a nice bottle of wine, she meets Jacques, a grumpy local winemaker with whom she has an instant crush. Anxious to see him again, she attends a chaotic wine tasting organized by Jacques where nothing goes as expected.
