It happened in a Castilian town in the mid-1940s, that is, in the middle of the post-war period. One Sunday, Isabel and Anne, two sisters aged eight and six respectively, watched the movie “Doctor Frankenstein”. The little girl was so impressed that she kept asking her older sister questions about the monster. One day, the family realized that Ana had disappeared from the house. And while the whole town was looking for her, she managed to see Frankenstein reflected in the waters of the river by the moonlight. And he has been invoking it ever since.
