After more than a decade DreamWorks Animation returns to present a new adventure in the Shrek universe in which the daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that a passion for danger and a disregard for safety come at a price. Gato has already spent eight of his nine lives, although he has already lost count along the way. To get them back, he will have to embark on the greatest adventure he has ever experienced.
Oscar nominee Antonio Banderas once again lends his voice to the famous cat, who will embark on an epic journey through the Black Forest in search of the mythical Star of Desire in order to recover his lost lives. And with only one left, he has no choice but to drink from the cup of humility and ask for help from his old partner and nemesis, the captivating Kitty Soft Paws (Oscar nominee Salma Hayek in VO).
In their search, and much to their regret, Gato and Kitty will have the company of a ragged and eternally optimistic mutt who never stops talking, named Perro (Harvey Guillén in VO, from the series “Lo que hacemos en las sombras”). The three heroes must manage to always stay ahead of Goldilocks (Oscar® nominee Florence Pugh in VO, Black Widow), the Three Bears family of mobsters, “Big” Jack Horner (Emmy winner John Mulaney in VO, from the series “Big Mouth”) and the terrifying bounty hunter El Lobo Feroz (Wagner Moura in VO, from the series “Narcos”).
