Sisu

During the last desperate days of World War II, a lone gold prospector (Jorma Tommila) crosses paths with the Nazis on a retreat to northern Finland. When the Nazis steal his gold, they quickly discover that they have not messed with just any miner. Although there is no direct translation of the Finnish word “sisu,” this legendary ex-comando will embody what sisu means: a form of unimaginable courage and determination in the face of overwhelming odds. And no matter what the Nazis throw at it, the one-man death squad will do everything in its power to get its gold back, even if it means killing every Nazi in its path.
