They say that a dog is man’s best friend, but what happens when the human in question is an evildoer? In such a case, you may deserve to suffer sweet, doggy revenge.
In ‘Dog Life’ Reggie, a naive and optimistic border terrier to the core, ends up abandoned on the ruthless city streets by his despicable owner, Doug, although he is totally convinced that it was all a misunderstanding and that his adored life companion would never give up on him like that. But when he encounters a loquacious, foul-mouthed Boston terrier named Bug, a stray dog who loves his freedom and thinks ownership is for losers, Reggie finally realizes he’s been living in a toxic relationship and begins to see Doug for what he really is: a despicable, heartless creep.
Determined to get revenge Reggie, Bug and his buddies – Maggie, a spunky Australian shepherd who’s been pushed aside by her mistress’s new puppy; and Hunter, a distressed Great Dane who’s stressed out from his job as an emotional therapy animal – hatch a plan and embark on an epic adventure to help Reggie find his way back home… and make Doug pay for his actions by biting off his most prized appendage (and we’re not talking about a foot).
